How can Connect to Work support me?
The Connect to Work programme in York and North Yorkshire is designed so that you can move confidently into employment. We know that disabilities, health conditions and other barriers can make job-seeking difficult and so this programme offers personalised, one-to-one support just for you
You will work with a dedicated adviser to develop your skills, improve your CV, build confidence, access training opportunities and connect with local employers. The programme is also voluntary, flexible, friendly and completely free, helping you take practical steps at your own pace towards meaningful work and a brighter future.
How can we help?
- We will help find the right job for you using your strengths
- We will help you get into paid work as quick as possible and help you to stay there
- We will support you if you are currently working and struggling to keep your job
- We will work with employers to help you get the support that you need
- We will work closely with local services to make sure you get joined-up support for your health, wellbeing and your job
