The York and North Yorkshire LEAP Wage Subsidy Programme supports economically inactive adults aged 18+ to gain paid work experience and rebuild confidence through a fully funded part-time placement with a local employer.
Through a fully funded 3-month placement of at least 16 hours per week, participants can:

✅ Improve employability and job readiness
✅ Progress into sustained employment opportunities
Employers also benefit from a fully funded wage subsidy, helping them access additional resource while supporting local people back into work.
